ABOUT

For the past six years, Steve has been the superintendent of Liberty Hill ISD. Under his leadership, Liberty Hill experienced a remarkable growth spurt in enrollment by 126% in just five years. He is a proven leader for a rapidly growing community. 

The knowledge Steve has gained through his experience and relationships built across the state, county, and the greater Austin area has helped build the leadership, communication skills, and vision it takes to be successful. One of the accomplishments Steve is most proud of is that over his career, he has helped lead others to grow and become successful. Steve understands that he is a part of something bigger than himself, and that is part of what drives him to be a leader in his community and leave a legacy of service to others.


Steve brings a 31-year proven track record of school-wide improvement, a passion for learning, and purpose-driven leadership that inspires excellence. In 2026, he is running for Williamson County Judge to bring that same commitment to growth, service, and community to the entire county.
